Children are expected to attend school daily from 9am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday totalling 32.5 hours per week.

Our School Day

8.15am - Free Breakfast Club in the School Hall

Our free Breakfast Club provides children with a healthy start to the day in a safe, welcoming environment. Pupils can enjoy a nutritious breakfast and spend time socialising with other pupils before lessons begin.

8:45am - School Gates Open
Children and families are welcome to arrive from 8:45am.

8:50am - Classroom Doors Open
This provides an opportunity for parents and carers to pass on any important messages to teaching staff before the start of the school day.

9:00am - Registration
The school day officially begins, and all pupils should be in class and ready to learn.

9:00am - School Gates Close
For safeguarding and security reasons, the school gates are closed promptly at 9:00am.

10:15am - Morning Break
Children enjoy a supervised break on the playgrounds, supported by teachers and teaching assistants.

• Fresh fruit is provided for all Reception and Key Stage 1 pupils.
• Key Stage 2 pupils are encouraged to bring a healthy snack, such as fruit or breadsticks.

12:00pm - 1:00pm - Lunch (Reception and Key Stage 1)
All Reception and Key Stage 1 pupils are entitled to Universal Infant Free School Meals. Lunch is served in the school hall, followed by supervised outdoor play on the lower playground.

12:15pm - 1:15pm - Lunch (Key Stage 2)
Key Stage 2 pupils may choose from a hot school meal or a school-packed lunch, both of which can be ordered daily. School meals cost £2.90 per day for pupils who are not eligible for Free School Meals. Children may also bring a packed lunch from home.

3:00pm - Assembly
Assemblies provide a valuable opportunity for children to come together as a whole-school community, celebrating achievements, sharing important messages and reinforcing our school values.

3:20pm - School Gates Open
Parents and carers may wait on the playground from this time. Please note that gates will only be opened once all children have safely entered the building. On occasion, there may be a slight delay, and we appreciate your patience.

3:30pm - End of the School Day
The school day finishes for all pupils in Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

For the safety of our children, all pupils must be collected by a nominated adult. Parents and carers of Year 6 pupils may request permission for their child to walk home independently. Any such arrangement must be agreed and authorised by the Headteacher.
