Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE)
From September 2026, all schools in England are required to follow updated statutory guidance for Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE).
At Millbrook Primary School and Nursery, RSHE has been part of our curriculum for several years. From September 2026, we will be delivering an updated RSHE curriculum, aligned with the revised government guidance. Our approach remains age‑appropriate, inclusive and sensitive, supporting pupils’ wellbeing, safety and personal development while helping them to build healthy and respectful relationships.
The updated RSHE curriculum and policy have been developed following consultation with staff, pupils, parents and carers. We value working in partnership with families and are committed to being clear and transparent about what is taught and when.
