Student Wellbeing
Student Support
Here at Millbrook Primary School, pupil’s wellbeing is our first priority. We know that children learn best when they are happy and well-supported. Therefore, we understand the importance of providing children with the right support, at the right time. Our approachable and dedicated staff work tirelessly to develop positive and trusting relationships with pupils, so that they are able to work alongside them and their families to achieve the best possible outcomes.
We know that sometimes, for whatever reason, children may need additional pastoral support. We are able to offer a range of support to children including two full-time Learning Mentors, an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA), inclusion and learning support where necessary.
BEAM
BEAM is an emotional wellbeing service for children and young people under 25. During this challenging time, we recognise that children and families do not have access to the support networks that they would usually have access to. Overtime, this can have a negative effect. If you are concerned about your child's emotional well-being or mental health, please have a read through the documents below provided by BEAM. Information about who you can can contact for support are included.
