Summer 2024

Our final topic is titled 'The Big Wide World'. During this theme, we explore our individual heritage and our personal journeys in the world. We also consider the journeys within stories, develop our map skills and understanding of different types of transport. We investigate the features of planet Earth and discuss its environmental features. We also explore the habitats of animals and make comparisons between different locations, habitats and weather systems.

Summer 2025

Our fifth topic is titled 'Creepy Crawlies' in which children will learn about minibeasts, life cycles (caterpillars - butterflies, tadpoles - frogs) and the habitats that creepy crawlies live in.

Our sixth and final topic is titled 'A Long Time Ago'. During this topic, your child will be learning about Planet Earth in the past by finding out about rocks, fossils and dinosaurs.
