Enrichment offer
Millbrook’s Enrichment Offer
At Millbrook, we are committed to ensuring that every child has equal access to enrichment opportunities as part of their school day. These activities are designed to complement our regular curriculum and go beyond after-school clubs, trips, and special experiences, adding something extra and exciting to the learning experience.
What is Enrichment?
Our enrichment sessions allow children to explore new interests and develop skills in a fun, supportive environment. Staff across the school have chosen activities they are passionate about, whether it’s a favourite hobby, a special skill, or something they simply enjoy and they can’t wait to share these experiences with the children.
How Does It Work?
- Choice: Each child will select their top 3 enrichment activities to take part in and will be given one.
- Sessions: Children will take part in two sessions per term, each lasting two hours, on Wednesday afternoons.
- Consistency: The same adult will lead the activity throughout the term (and possibly the whole year if it proves popular).
- Sessions will include children from Year 1 to Year 6, with progressive steps and outcomes tailored to each age group, ensuring every child is challenged and supported appropriately.
We are excited to offer these experiences to help children discover new interests, build confidence, and have fun while learning.
How to choose:
